  • Activity: Hatten Wines Vineyard (Sanggalangit).
    • Visit the visitor center and take an immersive tour of the “Heritage” vineyards. Unlike many wineries, Hatten has been growing grapes in Bali since 1994, focusing on local varieties like the black Muscat Bleu de Bali.
  • Stay: Puri Lumbung Munduk.
    • Located in the mist-covered hills of Munduk, this eco-resort is built from restored Balinese rice barns (Lumbung) and focuses on preserving local culture and nature.

Day 4: Tropical Italian Spirit

Explore the boutique “Italian-style” viticulture hidden in the northern hills.

  • Activity:Cantine Balita / Isola Wine (Tajun).
    • Visit the Cantine Balita winery in the village of Tajun. This winery combines Italian winemaking techniques with Balinese-grown grapes to produce the “Isola” label. The drive through the North Bali countryside is rugged and beautiful.
  • Dining:The Botanist by Desa Eko.
    • A sustainable, farm-to-table dining experience in Munduk that highlights locally foraged ingredients and mountain-grown produce.

Day 5: Waterfalls & Farewell

Before heading back, take a final walk through the coffee and clove plantations that define the Munduk landscape.

  • Activity: Guided walk to the Munduk Waterfall. It is a gentle trek through lush jungle and plantations.
  • Lunch: Éco Café 2 in Munduk for organic Balinese coffee and a final meal with views of the valley.

Transport Tip: Since many of these locations are in the remote north, hiring a private driver for the 5 days is highly recommended to navigate the steep mountain roads comfortably.
